Tom Tom Heads--Are the Bottom and Top Interchangeable?

Is it okay to do a swap of the front head on a tom tom with the back head??

Hi, Steve--

Definitely NOT. The batter head is thicker and is meant to be struck with sticks. The resonator (bottom) head is very thin in comparison and will not only sound bad, but it will break.
