The Martin New Yorker holds the distinction of being Martins first "vintage re issue" .It first came out in 1961 and players like Joan Baez and Bob Dylan were regularly seen playing it.
The guitar has solid mohogany back and sides, solid sitka spruce top, mahogany slot head 12 fret neck, brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge.
My father first bought it in 1972 for my mother who used it a hand full of times and since then has been sleeping in a very comfortable guitar case. So as you can see it's time for it to come out and play with a love one!!
I myself have 3 guitars and feel i don't want to start getting the Eric Clapton blues.
