Live Performance Drum Miking

Greetings,

I have 6 mics on my drum set. I run them through a Mackie ProFXv2 12 channel mixer.
The 6 mics are placed on the Kick, Snare, Hi-Hats, 2 mounted toms and the Ride Cymbal.

Here is my confusion, there are 4 points of EQ. 1. At each individual mic channel on the mixer. 2. The Graphic Equalizer on the mixer. 3. The mixer input channel on the PA. 4. The Graphic Equalizer on the PA.

How do I deal with all of this various Equalization; especially when the PA Graphic Equalizer is set for the all the other things running through it which also effect my drum sound and not necessarily for the good?

What's a good step by step procedure for dealing with all of this Equalization?
