Intermingling Drum Head Types

Is it bad to use say evans coated heads on one of the toms and remo clear heads on some of the others? i don't know if the sound just wouldn't flow or not.

Hi, David--

Different types of heads are going to sound different. The question is what kind of sound do you want? Go ahead and experiment with different combinations. You might find a unique overall sound that you really like.
