HOW CAN I MAKE MY DISTORTION SOUND MORE COMPRESSED AND SMOOTHER WITHOUT SPENDING MONEY? I USE A BOSS MD-2 MEGA DISTORTION.

Hi, Steven--

The MD-2 is just made to sound like it sounds--lots of low end distortion. You might be able to lighten it up by turning the distortion and gain down a bit, but you are not going to get the compression effect from this pedal without a compressor.
