How Can I attach a Leg Rest and Sling to My Marching Snare?

How to hook the leg rest to the marching snare drum and how to attach the sling to the leg rest and the drum? I have a pearl high tension marching drum and i have a ludwig leg rest and a ludwig white sling. I don't understand how to attach them on.

Normally, you should use the leg rest that is meant to go with the particular brand of marching snare.

Installation may require that you drill holds in the snare. It might be a good idea to take the drum to a qualified repair person and have them install the leg rest if it can be installed on a different brand of drum.
