Hi-hat & Ride Pitch

Does the pitch for hi-hats and rides change with each hit or continuous hits while a drummer is playing them? And if it does, is it only very slightly or in a descent very audible amount???

Hi, Amman--

The pitch may change very slightly from one hit to another, due to slight variations in velocity, pressure and angle. but these difference would be all but indiscernible except to a VERY sensitive ear.
