I have a 1937 Marin which has developed a small crack on its face. Where can I get it repaired?
ANSWER
Hi, Mike--
If the crack is cosmetic and is not a functional threat, then I would advise you NOT to have it repaired, as any alteration from original condition will diminish the value of the guitar. This is especially true for any "refinish" type of work.
If you still want to have it repaired, you could contact Scot MacDonald at www.customguitars.com
and ask about his services or he may be able to recommend someone in your area.
