Gibson Thunderbird 76 FOR SALE

I got it in 91 from The Golden Hoard who got it through The virgin Prunes from U2 who bought while on tour. Dublin was like that in 1990. Everybody knew everybody.

Its in original condition and never broken or repaired. It was serviced once by Derek Nelson in Dublin. It sounds wonderful.

I will be honest, the decal is long gone but I checked the pot numbers on THE GUITAR DATER PROJECT and this is the result. Potentiometer Info

CTS Corporation (Chicago Telephone Supply)
in the 63rd week of 1947 or 1957

This means that (given this is an original part) this is the earliest possible date your guitar (speaker) was made.

I'm sure the experts out there will make more sense of this. It's genuine with a good providence.

Sorry for the quality of the images. The bass comes in a custom flight case. I have toured a lot with it.
