Can I repair a broken guitar with glue?

alright here's the problem i was outside primering my guitar and it was really windy , it fell and the body split. The question is Can I get Gorilla Glue and put it back together?

Hi, Tony--

It is difficult to give you an answer, not knowing what kind of guitar and how bad the damage is. I think that if the guitar is valuable, I would at least get en estimate from a qualified repair person.

Barring having it professionally repaired, I guess
that it couldn't hurt to try the glue. The worst you could do is ruin the guitar, but it isn't exactly in great shape NOW.
