Someone recently told me that there are some sunburst painted bodies a higher grade than others due to the artist who painted the body at the factory?
I recently had my 1973 Fender in the shop to get new strings put on, he said this was the best example he has ever seen and i should hang onto it. He said something about a factory worker that took extra care in the finishing process (paint and clear coat) and he was more sought after more than others? he didn't write down the initials of the finisher. Any input?
Thanks
